Program Description

Wayne County provides outpatient case management and/or therapeutic services based on consumers direction and establishment of need. Therapeutic services include individual, family, and group psychotherapy, individual, family and group supportive counseling and psychiatric services. Services are geared to identified goals and objectives resulting from the treatment planning process. Selected services are targeted populations, including school based counseling or intensive services for families experiencing multiple stressors. Substance abuse/Addiction services are available on outpatient basis in order for families to access these services in rural areas of the county.

Children's Respite Program
Intensive Care Coordinator
ROCS

Days/Hours of Operation

Monday –Thursday 8:00am until 6:30pm
Friday 8:00am until 5:00pm

Admission Criteria

  • Consumer must be 4 years of age or older.
  • Consumer has a behavioral health or substance abuse diagnosis based on DSM-IV-TR criteria.
  • Consumer demonstrates intrapsychic or interpersonal conflicts and/or need to change behavior patterns
  • Interventions are focused on the dynamics of the consumer’s problems and are grounded in a specific theoretical base that provides a framework for assessing change.
  • The consumer’s treatment plan reflects the consumers articulated goals and documents the need for outpatient services.
  • The consumer cannot be an immediate danger to self/others that would require a more intensive level of care.
