Adult Services
Coping with a mental illness isn't easy. At Prestera Center, our professional staff
provides a broad continuum of services to meet each individual’s emotional and mental
health needs. Our services help people cope with everyday problems. We have specialized
services that help to prevent hospitalization or to help transition back into everyday
life after more intensive treatment options.
Case Management Services
Serving adults above the age of 18, Prestera provides a continuum of care for individuals diagnosed with a severe, persistent mental illness.

Case Management services are provided with an emphasis on brokerage case management and linkage to appropriate services based on individual need.
Outpatient Services
Prestera Center’s outpatient services offer therapy and supportive counseling to adults.

Services can include psychological or psychiatric evaluations that assist the individual in achieving an optimal level of functioning by helping identify and manage symptoms. Services may include individual, group, and family therapy, marital therapy and case management services.
Essential Outpatient Services
Prestera Center’s Essential Outpatient Services serves individuals over the age of 18 who have limited needs, primarily physician services and/or therapy.

Services are provided less frequently and are case specific, adapting as each person’s needs change. Periodic evaluations are provided, ensuring that as needs change so can the services provided.
Intensive Outpatient Services
Intensive Outpatient programs provide services most frequently and provide services in a structured, supportive environment that helps each person make positive changes with little disruption to his or her family, work or social life.

Intensive individual, group, family and couples therapy is offered to help stabilize the individual. Intensive outpatient programs teach individuals how to monitor and manage their psychiatric condition in order to avoid long hospital stays.
Residential Services
Residential services provide 24-hour supervised care for adults that cannot live independently in the community and who would likely have to be hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital without support in their homes.

Consumers may receive other Prestera Center services, including psychiatric care, counseling, therapy, money management, day treatment, and/or peer support services.
Homelessness Services
To help the chronically homeless overcome housing adversities, Prestera Center provides several specialized homeless services.

Homeless services can provide referrals for medical issues, help teach people job seeking skills, provide transportation to appointments and help those struggling with homelessness find safe, affordable, permanent housing. Beyond providing supportive services, Prestera Center staff are advocates for chronically homeless. Trained professionals help guide homeless adults through the bureaucracy of other agencies that can seem overwhelming.
Mentor Employment Services
Prestera Center offers opportunities for consumers to learn new job skills.

In conjunction with the Department of Rehabilitative Services, consumers can enter the local workforce in a safe and supported atmosphere. Professional job coaches routinely evaluate progress and provide support. Emphasis is placed on success in the community through employment and working to improve yourself and the community where you reside.
Community Support Services
Prestera provides community based rehabilitation and case management services that are designed to serve individuals with severe and persistent behavioral health needs.
By creating an extensive continuum of care, Prestera Center is able to help people
become part of the community.
