Program Description

The Mason County Office provides Mental Health and Substance Abuse services to the approximately 25,000 residents of Mason County. These services include individual therapy, case management, supportive intervention, psychological testing, competency evaluations, DUI services and medication therapy.

The Mason County In-Home program is also housed in the Mason County Office. It provides Mental Health services for children who are at risk of being removed from their homes. The Model Outpatient Program (MOP) is also housed in the Mason County Office. MOP provides services for teenagers who are substance abusers.

Days/Hours of Operations

Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Admission Criteria

  • Consumer must be 5 years of age or older.
  • Consumer has a behavioral health diagnosis based on DSM’IV criteria.
  • Consumer demonstrates intrapsychic or interpersonal conflicts and/or desire to change behavior patterns.
  • Interventions are focused on the dynamics of the consumer’s problems and are grounded in a specific theoretical base that provides a framework for assessing change.
  • The consumer’s treatment plan refelects the consumers’ articulated goals and documents the need for outpatient services.
  • The consumer cannot be an immediate danger to self/others that would require a more intensive level of care.
  • Consumer has a behavioral health or substance abuse diagnosis based o DSM-IV criteria following initial evaluation.
