Prestera's corporate office houses most of our administrative offices as well as the Access Center, which responds to nearly all initial referals to the agency.

Prestera's Main Center provides mental health and substance abuse services for a population base of an estimated 96,784 citizens in Cabell County. Prestera Center provides a full continuum of care in Cabell County. Services include individual, family, and group psychotherapy, case management, supportive counseling, psychiatric services, addictions treatment, crisis services, intensive outpatient, and residential treatment.

Admission Criteria

Consumer must be 4 years of age or older.
Consumer has a behavioral health or substance abuse diagnosis based on DSM-IV-TR criteria.
Consumer demonstrates intrapsychic or interpersonal conflicts and/or need to change behavior patterns
Interventions are focused on the dynamics of the consumer’s problems and are grounded in a specific theoretical base that provides a framework for assessing change.
The consumer’s treatment plan reflects the consumers articulated goals and documents the need for outpatient services.
The consumer cannot be an immediate danger to self/others that would require a more intensive level of care.
